freaky friday fright nite 2023

 

The 27th annual Freaky Friday Fright Nite is 5-7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 27, at Mayor Bob Leonard Park. Children ages 12 and under are invited to "trick or treat" on the walk trail while local businesses, community groups and Town of Farragut volunteers hand out treats and provide games with prizes and cookie decorating. Taco Mafia, Hot Dog Hut and Kona Ice will be on location with food for purchase.

THIS IS A RAIN OR SHINE EVENT. In case of serious weather, check Farragut Parks and Rec on social media.

 

This is a free event, but participants are asked to bring items to benefit the local Ronald McDonald House. The Ronald McDonald House provides a “home away from home” for families with critically ill children who are being served by area hospitals. Items that are needed: 

 

  • cake mixes

  • brownie mixes

  • cans of frosting

  • bags of granulated sugar

  • packs of coffee creamer

  • coffee pods

  • to-go boxes

  • bottled water

  • individually wrapped snacks

  • bags of chips

  • granola bars

  • pop tarts

  • kitchen size garbage bags

  • disposable coffee cups

  • 8 1/2 by 11 copy paper

  • postage stamps

  • mayonnaise

  • small bags of flour

  • brown sugar

  • Gift cards to Amazon, Target, Lowe's, ACE hardware, Home Depot
